On landMistral has a stretched (2.57 metres), straightforward V-shape (minimally rounded at the front). The very slim rear end is particularly striking in comparison.
On the waterLight on its feet, lively and a little more tippy than its competitors, the Mistral follows a little in the Lorch's footsteps. At the same time, the board seems a tad freer and more nervous than the Lorch. With feeling placed on the fin, the board seems to fly over the water and with careful fin loading, the Mistral can be pushed to outstanding top speed in the entire wind range. It feels very light, direct and tight. The jibe characteristics correspond to the general riding experience: agile and super fast, the board goes through the turn, requires some careful edge loading and rewards you with the fastest turns and the best planing performance at the exit of the turn.
