Hawaii, flower necklaces, palm trees swaying in the wind - Naish stands for the Hawaiian spirit like no other brand. And the boards are also consistently developed for the conditions there. Which can also be very convenient for one or two surfers here at home. After all, the water temperature has no influence on the choice of board.
On land: The full-length deck pad has an extra grippy effect and therefore also provides a particularly secure feeling. At the nose, the board is well protected under the pad with an additional foam pad against impacts from the mast. The optional strap positions, which are particularly far forward, do not really have a suitable counterpart for the rear foot. Here you can only "try out" loop surfing with the front foot.
On the water: Due to the longer board length, you are almost automatically always in the right position on the stable board, and the board promptly converts slightly stronger gusts into a fast ride, before quickly switching to a medium planing ride. Then it immediately shows its Hawaiian genes, it hangs very lively on the foot for this board group, glides more wobbly, therefore requires more attention, but also enables correct board control only by edge loading with the feet in the straps. Even tight jibes from full planing are more successful than with any other board in this test.
