The retro wave rolls on - the cult brand Mistral will also be launching the Windsurfer LT in 2020.

The old-school design should not hide the fact that the windsurfer, which is also sold by other brands in the same design, is not a copy, but a completely revised version of the old windsurfer. At 15 kilos, the update is noticeably lighter and wider (74 centimetres) than the original and is recommended for cruising in light winds, but is also ideal as a SUP board. As a set with the 5.7 Mylar rig (carbon mast, aluminium fork), the board will cost 2099 euros. A regatta series and the IWCA class have already developed around the rediscovered longboards ( www.windsurferclass.com ). Information on the "new" longboard is also available at www.mistral.com
