In the next issue of surf 5-2025, eight freeride boards are in the comparison test: very different models, which already differ greatly in shape and equipment, although they are all categorised as freeride. The freeride boards in the upcoming surf issue 5-2025 present probably the widest range of options, from glide climbers to extremely ambitious hobby riders. Some boards are equipped with a variety of footstrap options to suit every area of use. Others, however, such as the Naish, have dispensed with the "race" position, while the Severne Fox lacks the internal position for planing riders.
