With little drag, the Tabou becomes very free in stronger winds and still provides a lot of control with a soft entry and stable planing. In the outer straps, the board can be ridden nicely on the fin like a freerace board.
The "carpet" under the loops is large, the loops are comfortable and even intermediates feel at home here. This is helped by the great tipping stability when bobbing and with wide jibing radii.
Tight jibes or sporty fast power jibes can only be achieved with difficulty, if at all. The shape is more suited to those who want to learn the glide jibe first, which works very well.
