It is in the good upper range when planing, starts fluidly and light-footedly, there is plenty of space on the wide deck when bobbing, the flat board is stable in the water. The planing position is sporty, direct and free, even without a lot of body tension the board looks fast and crisp with the completely flat shaped underwater hull, but it cannot be pressed completely onto the fin - the loops positioned far inwards (there is only one position!) also set limits. And if you manoeuvre your foot outwards on the small pads for more pressure on the rail, you will quickly end up with your heel on the smooth (slippery) edge. In the medium wind range, it keeps up well with a Magic Ride 129, but is not as comfortable and can no longer be accelerated by a small kick in strong winds, which is possible on the smoother-running, more comfortable JP board. On the other hand, it scores points with the low foot pressure required in the jibe, turns much tighter and is certainly one of the best boards in this group, and even medium radii are fluid with good planing potential, even if it is a little more sensitive to stabilise than our comparison board. Nevertheless, manoeuvres are fun and easy to master. Despite a crisp planing position, the board remains easy to control even in strong winds, does not rise and feels light underfoot. It is better suited to sails with a little more pull on the back hand, such as the Loftsails from the current test, for example, then it really comes free.
