Test 2020: Waveboards 90-95 litres
Waveboards with 90 to 95 litres are sold almost as often as smaller models. But can these big ships turn corners properly? Or do they make turns like a container ship? After four weeks of testing on the North Sea and Baltic Sea, we know!

Instead of fuelling parts of our test team with chocolate and coffee cream, we also brought some real "breakers" into the team to test the 2020 models. Four test riders weighing between 82 and 98 kilos chased the eleven boards across the North and Baltic Seas for many days in a windy September with sails between 4.0 and 5.5 square metres.

For heavy riders (>88 kilos), the 90 to 95 litre volume class is likely to be the preferred one-board solution. Those who weigh less will probably tend towards a smaller size if they want to get by with a waveboard - or choose the waveboards presented here as an additional alternative for lighter winds.
