Test 2021: Waveboards 82-88 litres
Whether it's hard choppy food, savoury North Sea surf or the finest down-the-line morsels - waveboards should not be foodies. For this test, we put ten boards through their paces on the North Sea and Baltic Sea in a wide variety of conditions.

Putting together a test group is tougher than expected. "85 litres, all-round waveboards" was the simple requirement for the individual brands for this test. The problem: the printed volumes are usually only half the truth, as the models differ primarily in terms of width. For example, a JP Magic Wave 82 is nominally the smallest board in the test, but half a centimetre wider than the largest board in the group in terms of volume, the Tabou Da Curve 88. We would also have liked to have presented two other interesting shapes in this test: The promised wave model from F2 was "not available" according to the manufacturer, and the new Köster board Severne Pyro didn't make it out of the factory in time for testing. As soon as the boards are available, we will present them to you in one of the following issues.

You can see all the features and details of the 82-88 litre waveboards in the video

The test results of these ten 82-88 litre waveboards from SURF 11-12/2020 with all data and grades can be found below in the PDF download area:

  • Fanatic Ultra Grip Mosquito TE 86
  • Goya Custom 3 Thruster 86 Pro
  • JP-Australia Magic Wave 82 Pro

  • RRD Cult 82 LTD
