The NeilPryde Atec 25 convinces on the water with good grip and stiffness, at the checkout with an attractive price
NeilPryde has completely revised the boom range for 2026. The slim Atec 25 proved to be stiff and easy to handle in the freeride test - and is a real value-for-money tip!

No fewer than twelve windsurfing booms are listed on the current NeilPryde page. The Atec 25 is the thinnest aluminium boom with a 25 mm tube diameter. In the 1.60-2.10 metre length, the very grippy, thin fork was able to profile itself perfectly.

And it wasn't just on the 5.6 and 6.0 Freemove sails that the fork looked nice and crisp "al dente", but even on a NeilPryde Speedster Evo 7.0 the Atec 25 left a good impression: just wide enough for such a camberless sail and even with just under 40 centimetres of extension, our 85-kilo testers found it stiff enough. Thanks to its special geometry, the tried-and-tested head piece also clings very firmly to the mast vertically, both on RDM and SDM masts. The price of 289 euros is therefore worth a price-performance tip.

The NeilPryde Atec 25 is available in sizes 140-190 and 160-210, info at neilpryde.com
