Fins are more than just simple track holders, they are the engine under your board. And because a good fin is often not a bargain and holes in the profile have a direct effect on speed and spin-out susceptibility, you should pay a little attention to it and at least erase the traces of the last ground contact.
Small imperfections at the tip of the fin can be repaired with sandpaper and require no further repair. Theoretically, you can also use materials for repairing cracks, holes and other defects in the fin profile, such as UV-curing resin or 2-component filler. The problem is that these materials crumble away immediately on renewed contact with the base. The ideal solution for broken fins is therefore to repair them with superglue and a special filler.

You need: " Sandpaper " Superglue: As thin as possible so that it seeps into even the smallest cracks. Toolcraft superglue Ropid 100 (from €4.90), for example, is suitable. " Filling powder for superglue, such as Durax Kombi Filler repair powder (from €2.90).
