The Foil Lock from manufacturer Surfinlock secures boards and foils against theft. Find out how the system works here.

When travelling with a foil board, you always ask yourself whether you should leave the expensive equipment outside after the session or put it away straight away. Especially when travelling, camping or vanlife, you don't always want to dismantle your equipment and leave it outside overnight. But then you often have a bad feeling, after all, you are simply leaving thousands of euros unprotected outside the van.

The new Foil Lock from Surfinlock was developed precisely for this problem. The patented pendant system secures the board and foil. The principle is simple: the lock is inserted into the mounting rail of the foil and then covers the screws of the mast plate. Locked with the Looplock safety cable (or another lock), the lock can no longer be removed and the board and foil can be attached to the van, a tree or a fence.

The system is adjustable in length and height and is therefore compatible with almost all common foil setups and brands. Made from saltwater-resistant premium stainless steel, the system is extremely robust and compact enough to fit in any travel bag. "For me, it's all about peace of mind when travelling. Nobody wants to constantly worry about their equipment while on holiday"says Surfinlock founder Florian Lohmann.
