Manufacturer Point-7 has revised its new Pro Base 2.0. The Italian-made base is designed to meet the highest standards and, according to the manufacturer, is "made from the best possible materials". Among other things, the pins have been redesigned. The base has been designed for durability, so everything below the replaceable string is made from one piece to prevent breakage and board loss. The string itself and the pin can be easily replaced if necessary. If the string does break, four safety straps are designed to ensure that the pole remains centred over the board and the board is not damaged so that you can still reach the shore safely. The Pro Base 2.0 is available for 89 euros.
Point-7 is launching the Vario Lines XXL especially for foil racers. Because many foil racers ride very long ropes for better control, the harness lines are available in generous lengths: 26-32/30-36/34-40/38-44 and even 40-46 inch lengths.
Even when fully extended, the vario harness lines should not dangle around, but be firmly attached to the boom and thus guarantee easy hooking and unhooking.
The adjustment system has also been specially adapted to the requirements of windsurfing foilers: the ropes can be shortened with just a little pull when foiling. The ropes are available for 99 euros.
