Prolimit’s already extensive range has now been expanded to include additional safety accessories, which are likely to be of particular interest to foilers, but also to windsurfers.
These include the new Peak helmet model, which is designed to combine the best possible impact protection with a lightweight design. The helmet will be available in two colourways and in sizes ranging from XS to L. By the way: You can find a review of numerous helmet models here.
Especially for the summer, the Impact Surf Hat This could be of interest. At first glance, it looks like a simple sun hat, but hidden underneath is a plastic impact shield which, whilst not offering the high level of protection provided by a traditional helmet, is nevertheless designed to provide basic protection in the event of a fall or contact with equipment. A chin strap keeps the hat securely in place. Along the same lines is the Impact Cap - It looks like a baseball cap, but thanks to its impact-resistant shell, it also offers basic protection for water sports enthusiasts.
Prolimit also has accessories for foil beginners. Anyone who still has to crawl onto their board frequently will soon feel the effects in the form of sore knees and elbows. The wetsuit can also suffer lasting damage in these high-stress areas. For this, there’s the Knee Shield and the Shield Elbow Protector A practical solution. The flexible pads can be worn directly against the skin or simply pulled over the Neo as extra padding.
All the new Savety accessories are now available from well-stocked specialist retailers and online surf shops. Further information is also available on the manufacturer’s website.
