The Double Shell helmet from Swiss manufacturer Ensis has some good features to offer. You can find out what these are in the test report.

Complementary to the Balz Pro helmet (Here is a test) the Swiss manufacturer Ensis also has the Double Shell Helmet in its programme, which differs in a few details. For example, the ear pieces on the Double Shell Helmet are removable, which improves hearing and eliminates annoying wind noise. The soft pads on the inside are slightly reduced, but the helmet still sits firmly and comfortably on the head. The size can be adjusted at the back of the head, and the adjustment dial is large enough to be easy to use even with clammy fingers and is easily accessible. The fastening on the chin, which can be fixed magnetically and also has additional padding to prevent any annoying pressure points, has also been perfected. The Ensis Double Shell helmet weighs just 285 grams without the ear pieces. As the padding hardly absorbs any water, the wet weight of around 340 grams is also in a very good range, which means that you quickly forget you are wearing a helmet at all when you are on the water.

The helmet model is available in two sizes (S-M/L-XL), has CE certification (EN 1385) for water sports use and is available in two colours (black/red).
