Smartphone app "Windsport Tracker"
The Windsport Tracker smartphone app is much more than just a GPS tracker - and there's a bit of nerd in all of us.

Record, analyse, share - the Windsport Tracker is available to download completely free of charge for smartphones with an Android operating system from Google Play. At just under 20 MB, memory consumption is kept to a minimum. It goes without saying that you need a waterproof case for your smartphone to be able to try everything out. The app has a tidy, clear appearance and offers windsurfers the opportunity to record and analyse sessions and much more.

When you start a recording, the app determines the distance travelled, links it to a Google map and also records all the associated parameters: Duration of the session, time, distance travelled and, of course, all measured speed values, all of which are clearly presented afterwards. Because, in addition to average and maximum speed, top speed values for 2s, 5s and 10s, as well as the best top speed over 100, 250, 500 metres and the nautical mile are also displayed, and this is obviously done extremely accurately, you can also take part in fun contests such as Speed Kini or Sax Speedking without having to buy a GPS device.

But material tinkerers will also be pleased, as all measurement data can be linked to the material stored in the app. The Windsport Tracker therefore allows you to analyse your own performance data: On which course do I surf the fastest? Is my new fin really faster than the old one and how has my personal jibe rate changed over a certain period of time - with the app, everyone can discover the tinkerer in them!

surf conclusion:We can recommend the free Windsport app without reservation! Whether as a measurement method for fun speed contests or simply for recording and analysing your own sessions or for material tuning - the extremely clear, simple and functional app can do it all.
