- Atan Sunfast: very soft, good fit, balanced compromise between protection and board feel, but narrow entry.
- Wetty Reef: very light, cut-resistant Armortex, strong barefoot feel with little cushioning, treadless sole and large size jumps.

- GA Beat hip harness (€249) offers a soft, snug fit, good pressure distribution and great freedom of movement for a wide range of uses.  
- Quick-release fastener holds securely, but is a little awkward to open/close and doesn't look fully developed.  
- The harness is heavily padded, protects the ribcage and sits very comfortably, but tends to run a little smaller than usual.
