The new Shield wetsuits from ProLimit are specially adapted to the requirements of wingfoiling: Kevlar protectors on the knees and shins are designed to protect against injuries caused by the foil. Additional reinforcements on the forearms prevent the neoprene from chafing when getting on the board. According to the manufacturer, shoulder padding also allows the board and foil to be carried comfortably.
The ProLimit Shield long-sleeved suit is available as "Free-X FTM" in 6/4 for 429.00 euros and as "Free-X" in 5/3 for 399.00 euros.
ProLimit is launching a new material for surf wetsuits under the name "Xlight 550+ Airprene". According to the manufacturer, it is made from oyster shells and offers a new way to make wetsuits even more sustainable. "In addition to better ecological properties, the Oyster neoprene also has excellent flex and is lighter than Limestone neoprene," promises ProLimit. "Closer to nature, closer to a natural, closed cycle with the advantage of a lighter wetsuit."
The oyster neoprene is used exclusively in the Vapor series and will initially be available in the Thermal Rebound FreeX FTM LTD models in 6/4 and 5/3 thicknesses, priced at €549.00 and €499.00 respectively.
The new Neos are available in sizes 46/XS, 48/S, 50/M, 51/MT, 52/L, 53/LT, 54/XL and 56/XXL
