Seek & Amaze Amp: New autumn and winter wetsuits from ION

ION promises 30% less effort for the same stretch for the new long-sleeved wetsuits in the Amp range. The material, called "Max_Flex", is said to have been used specifically in the areas of the upper body where the most freedom of movement is desired. "More stretch means more freedom, whether you're out there pushing your limits or just enjoying the water," promises the manufacturer.

According to ION, the outer material of the wetsuits is made from 100% recycled materials, while oyster shell powder and limestone are used in the neoprene. The wetsuits are also said to dry particularly quickly and the seams are sealed on the inside with tape. The front zips should also be easy to open with one hand when the other is holding the material. A press stud is designed to prevent accidental opening.

The autumn and winter neos are available in various styles and thicknesses. The Amaze range for women is available as a 6/5 hoodie and as a long-sleeved wetsuit in 5/4, 4/3 and 3/2 with a front zip, plus two models with a back zip in 5/4 and 4/3. The back zip models in the men's Seek range come in 6/5, 5/4 and 4/3, with a 3/2 front zip. The 6/5 with front zip also has a bonnet. "We are particularly pleased that, despite significant innovations in these wetsuits, we have not only managed to keep prices stable, but have even managed to reduce them slightly for most versions," says ION. The RRP starts at 439.00 euros.
