Short test 2020: Naish Lift Freerace 6.6
The 6.6 Naish Lift Freerace has a moderate aspect ratio with a 4.30 mast plus 12 centimetre extension and the mast pocket also looks rather narrow and not too extreme.

There is room for two small cambers to support the centre of the five battens, which works on RDM and SDM masts. Compared to the Lift Freeride, it has a sporty, pimped-up look. Here, too, the boom is very steeply raked downwards and the deck finish is perfect in light winds. Whether you can utilise the slightly better aerodynamics compared to the camberless sail is questionable, the overall difference is small. On the other hand, the camber sail also rotates well in manoeuvres, it just seems a little heavier and even less planing in very light winds. Nevertheless, a successful, pure foil sail.

Price879 Euro.
