This is also based on the unusual cutting concept. The sail is very stabilised by the clew tension and always has a clearly visible profile quite far forward in the battens, which do not touch the mast and in the right trim - with more clew tension - are clearly behind the mast. On the water, the Ezzy sail is very stable in the hands, with low holding forces and a very soft, cushioned ride. Only in max trim does it feel a little tighter, but for the most part it is elastic and flexible.
From the soft belly it draws a lot of planing power and good speed in light to medium planing winds - it largely ignores wind holes and just keeps on jetting, at top speed it lets up a little. It remains very easy to control with a well-balanced pull distribution even in strong winds - if you trim the clew in good time, you will need a few extra centimetres. The Ezzy is really great for jibes and other freeride manoeuvres: very light, agile and absolutely no batten rotation. Perfect for comfort freeriders and intermediates.
