The damped profile draws a deep belly and really loads up - this ensures early planing, but also makes the Yeah a little less playful on the straights and when shifting. The sail holds its speed pleasingly well in wind holes, or when switching to switch takes a little longer than planned. When ducking, the GunSails model needs to be guided more precisely, as the deeper profile also gives it a little more life of its own than the flattest models in the test group. On the other hand, the sail offers incredible lift after the duck, bringing all the popular power and even double-power moves within reach. If the wind picks up, you can pull the sail flat via the boom with more tension so that the pressure point remains stable.
