Two sail brands become one: Flight Sails, the young brand from Tenerife merges with Ezzy Sails. "From the very beginning, all Flight products have been manufactured in the Ezzy factory in Sri Lanka, where the same people, craftsmanship and attention to detail have been utilised," writes Flight Sails. "Working closely with David Ezzy, this approach developed naturally into a close working relationship."
The two brands are now joining forces and the Flight Sails team will work under the Ezzy label in future. "Today, everyone involved is really excited to continue this collaboration under the Ezzy brand," says the Flight Sails team. "A joint collaboration that we are all looking forward to!" The founders Björn de Vos, Bart David and José Fernandez will work closely with the developers of the established brand from Hawaii. Founder Dave Ezzy once started out at North Sails and created legendary models such as the Zeta before setting up his own business under his own name in the 1990s. Today, his son Graham Ezzy is also heavily involved.
