New foil modules from NeilPryde

For 2021, the NeilPryde brand says it has "invested a lot of time and energy in the new foil line". The result should be completely redesigned high-performance foils and a modular foil system: All wings, heads, masts and fuselages should be compatible with each other within the "Glide Surf" and "Glide Wind" ranges, so that the foils can also be attached to different boards and fin boxes. This should make it possible to use the foils in an interdisciplinary way - nothing should stand in the way of switching from wingsurfing to windsurfing or SUP foiling.

According to the manufacturer, the focus in terms of riding characteristics was placed on a stable, fast take-off, with the "Glide Surf" offering plenty of lift so that even small, unpressurised waves can be ridden endlessly. Thanks to the new, thinner profile of the front wing, the Glide Foils should also offer amazing end speed and very good manoeuvrability.

The "Glide Surf" model, which is more interesting for wingsurfers, is available in two designs - with a 70 cm aluminium mast (Glide Surf HP) or as a carbon version with a 75 cm carbon mast (Glide surf HP Carbon). Six different front wings are available, each with surfaces from 1130 to 2270 cm2.
