Duotone is expanding its foil portfolio with a new high-performance model for demanding freeriders and racers. The Blitz E/LAB Foil is designed to set new standards in terms of efficiency and control at high speeds. With a hydrodynamically optimised wing profile and special design features, the Blitz E/LAB is aimed at wingfoilers looking for maximum performance.
At the heart of the Blitz E/LAB is a hydrodynamically optimised front wing with low drag. Duotone has opted for a particularly thin profile that has been specially designed for high top speeds. The system is complemented by a specially developed P190 stabiliser with winglets, which, according to the manufacturer, ensures exceptional stability and precision in all conditions. High-modulus carbon is used in the construction, which is intended to achieve a good balance between rigidity and response behaviour. This enables precise control and efficient energy transfer - decisive factors for both personal speed records and efficient flying over long distances.
To cover different rider types and wind conditions, Duotone offers the Blitz E/LAB in two size variants. The more compact version with 550 cm² surface area and 68 cm wingspan (aspect ratio 8.6) is ideal for defi-orientated riders who are aiming for absolute top speeds. For lighter wind conditions, an 800 cm² version with an 81 cm wingspan (Aspect Ratio 8.4) is available. According to the manufacturer, this enables high speeds with good pumping characteristics. The Blitz set with the 47 cm fuselage is recommended - however, as the front part of the fuselage and the front wing consist of one part, this results in a fuselage length of 70 centimetres, measured from the leading edge of the front wing to the trailing edge of the stabiliser.
