There are countless jibe variants for wingfoiling, but it's a different story when it comes to tacking. In addition to the standard tack (HERE there's a video tutorial), only a handful of variations are currently popular. An extremely casual and yet feasible form of tack is the Wingpass Tack. This has its name because the wing is handed over behind the back. You pull the wing behind you during the tack and carve through the wind using only the foil. One of the sticking points is handling the leash. To avoid getting tangled up in the leash in the initial phase, it is advisable to practise this tack on the side where the leash is attached to the back hand before the initiation. After a few attempts, you will quickly get a feel for the new manoeuvre and will soon learn the casual tack.
