The Dam-X event is taking place for the eighth time this year. In addition to freestyle and foil shows, parties and the Surf Expo with test opportunities with many brands, the slalom competition is a highlight for many visitors. The race is aimed at all windsurfers, from beginners to advanced, with fin or foil. For the first time this year, there will also be wingfoil races on the Brouwersdam.
"With this weekend we want to end the Windsurf & Wing 'summer season' in a fun way," writes Rick Jendrusch from the Surf & Zeil-Centrum Brouwersdam and invites all surfers from the Netherlands, Belgium and Germany to take part. Registration includes: a starting place for the windsurfing races, a barbecue, entry to the party, raffle tickets and more. There will also be a free slalom training session with Jordy Vonk on Friday 11 October.
