The Cape Verdean island of Sal is a true paradise for water sports enthusiasts. With its beautiful beaches and crystal-clear, turquoise-coloured water, it offers the perfect conditions for improving your water sports skills. Whether windsurfing, wingsurfing or kitesurfing - the possibilities are almost endless.
The kite and wing camp: the road to success
The kite and wing camp is ideal for anyone who has already gained some experience in water sports and is ready to develop further. This camp is aimed at those who want to make targeted progress in their favourite sport. The experienced instructors provide individualised support based on your current level - from beginner to pro! The camp can be booked flexibly between 1 February and 15 February, with a minimum duration of seven days. Accommodation is included in the price.
Travelling to Sal
The organisation of travel to and from Sal is the responsibility of the participants themselves. Flights are available almost daily from Germany and other parts of Europe - often as a direct connection or with a transfer. The journey is particularly convenient for guests from Portugal. Accommodation right on the beach
During their stay, guests stay at the Pensão Alcinda Bettencourt - a charming guesthouse located right next to the "SantaKite" surf school in Santa Maria. Its proximity to Praia António Sousa Beach, Santa Maria Beach and Ponta da Fragata Beach ensures that the sea is never far away. The accommodation not only offers an excellent location but also amenities such as a terrace, a bar and free Wi-Fi to relax after an exciting day on the water. There is a choice of double rooms with a small kitchenette including a cooker and fridge and two single rooms without a kitchenette. A delicious breakfast in the Café Columbus next door is the perfect way to start the day.

Activities on SAL
Would you like to take your partner with you who has nothing to do with surfing, or are you looking for something to do in windless hours?
Then the multi-faceted island of Sal has much more to offer in addition to our range of courses.
Swimming and snorkelling in the turquoise waters, for example, is very possible. We can also plan a snorkelling trip together with you.
There are also countless other activities on Sal, such as:
- Jogging through the SAL salt pans
- Yoga by arrangement with our yoga trainer
- Deep-sea fishing by independent booking via the fishermen on the pier. Ricardo has contacts here
- Hiking to the Cabecasalina mountain with one of us. Flyingfox (zip wire) from the mountain down to the beach
- Snorkelling with Ricardo and his harpoon. Catching fish together for the barbecue
- Surfing with professional surfers Ricardo and Bernardo in a beginners' wave bay on Sal
- Fish lunch with Carlos directly at the fishing pier in the centre
- Strolling and shopping in the centre of Santa Maria
- Evening walk followed by a sunset session in Ponta Preta
- Massage in Santa Maria
- Party and live music in the trendy Cintaloca bar. Ice-cold draught beer and delicious cocktails

The price for the surf camp is €1250 per person. This includes 10 lessons, 6 nights in a double room incl. breakfast, airport transfer, a barbecue evening and an unforgettable excursion with lots of great people.
