The Baltic seaside resort of Binz on the island of Rügen will once again be the venue for a wingfoil event in 2024. With a view of the 16-kilometre-long sandy beach and within sight of the chalk cliffs, the fastest wingfoil racers in Northern Europe as well as amateur wingfoilers will compete for placings and a total of 5,000 euros in prize money. The start will be in long distance format - the entire field will set off together in a "full fleet" on the four to ten kilometre course, depending on the conditions. The placings can be determined via a tracking system and there will be a separate youth classification.
To ensure that as many participants as possible can take part, the organiser is offering discounted parking spaces, and participating day guests can even park for free not far from the event site. The entry fee also includes a pasta party, catering and a goodie bag. The entry fee for early bookers is from 50 euros. But the Baltic Foil Challenge will be much more than just a wingfoil race: There will be a colourful supporting programme and a test centre where you can try out the latest equipment.
The event takes place from 3.05. to 5.05.2024 at the pier of the Ostseebad Binz. You can find the registration and further information HERE on the website of the organiser SUP Spirit Soul.
