Downwinder XXL - 110 kilometres with the Wing
Australians are known to have a different relationship with distances. So it's no wonder that this downwinder along the coast of Australia turned out to be a little longer.

Australia has great spots for all kinds of water sports. However, some of them are quite far apart. For a real "Aussie", it is therefore normal to travel 500 kilometres just to go on the water somewhere for a few hours. Or to do a 110 kilometre downwinder with the wing.

This ride from Great Barrier Island to Auckland was some time ago, but we don't want to withhold the clip from you.

Do you fancy a downwinder too? For tips on pumping on the wave and setting the wing "off", check out HERE .
