From the29 April to 1 May the Wingdays Almühlseeorganised by the local Altmühlsee surf centre. Whether with or without a foil, there should be something for everyone here, as Clemens Peschel from the Altmühlsee surf centre reveals:
"In order to be fully up-to-date with the latest equipment, some of the biggest manufacturers in the industry will be waiting for you at Wingdays with the latest wings, boards and foils for free testing. You can look forward to seeing Duotone, Fanatic, Starboard, Freewing, AK Supply and Naish, among others. Of course, the brand experts will also be on hand to answer your questions about innovations and new features. You can easily find out whether wingsurfing is something for you in one of the free taster courses under professional guidance (registration required). If there's not enough wind or you want to try something new, you're very welcome on our pump-foil jetty and in one of the free pump taster courses.

Manuel Vogel, born in 1981, lives in Kiel and learned to windsurf at the age of six at his father's surf school. In 1997, he completed his training as a windsurfing instructor and worked for over 15 years as a windsurfing instructor in various centers, at Kiel University sports and in the coaching team of the “Young Guns” freestyle camps. He has been part of the surf test team since 2003. After completing his teaching degree in 2013, he followed his heart and started as editor of surf magazine for the test and riding technique sections. Since 2021, he has also been active in wingfoiling - mainly at his home spots on the Baltic Sea or in the waves of Denmark.
