In the women's event, the US American Fiona Wylde, three-time world champion on the SUP, showed that a change of discipline is obviously not a problem for her, winning against the Frenchwoman Orane Ceris to reach the final of the small field of five women. There she relegated Bowien van der Linden (NED) to second place with fluid rides and consistently high scores of 7.07 and 7.33.

The men's final was firmly in French hands with Hugo Marin and Julien Bouyer. When Marin incorporated an Air-360 into his wave ride and landed safely on the wave face, it was clear which way the pendulum would swing this time at the Wingfoil World Cup Dakhla - Marin won ahead of Julien Bouyer and Camille Bouyer, who beat Brazil's Fernando Novaes in the small final.
