In 2021, Olivia Piana became the first female world champion in the "Surf Race" discipline on the Wingfoil World Tour. Now she is joining the Vayu team.

With the 31-year-old Frenchwoman from La Ciotat, Vayu has brought an absolute all-rounder of water sports into the team. Because before she became the first wingfoil world champion in the "Surf Race" discipline on the GWA Wingfoil World Tour at the end of 2021, she had already achieved numerous other successes: youth vice world champion in windsurfing in 2010, three-time world champion and five-time European champion on the SUP - Piana is obviously at the top of the world on various sports equipment.

And she already has ambitious plans for the future. With her new sponsor Vayu, Olivia Piana naturally wants to attack again on the GWA Wingfoil World Tour, with the World Cup in Leucate starting on 25 April.

Piana is also aiming to take part in the 2024 Olympic Games in Paris on the new Olympic windsurfing equipment IQFoil. So she is unlikely to get bored for a while.

How does she manage to juggle all of this? We will ask her and present you with a detailed interview here on the website this season.
