From 18 to 20 August 2023, the Foil Festival will once again take place in Schönberger Strand. Over 40 brands will have test equipment ready, and there will also be parties and contests.

The Foil Festival on Schönberg's Baltic Sea beach is back in the starting blocks. With 43 brands, the beach fair is at its absolute capacity limit - for you this means an unprecedented range of testing opportunities. From "A" for Armstrong to "V" for Vayu, all the big-name manufacturers will be on hand to offer you the latest equipment for free testing. Wingfoil courses for beginners are also on offer - so newcomers and experts are equally welcome here. But the festival is much more than just a hands-on trade fair:

Contest, party & beach life at the Foil Festival Schönberg

The best WingFoil athletes in Germany will once again be competing in the "Freestyle" and "Race" disciplines for the German Championship title, which serves as a feeder event for the European and World Championships. The German Wing Foil Association is responsible for the sporting organisation.

Visitors can look forward to seeing wingfoil superstar Balz Müller from Switzerland. Balz, the first world champion in wingfoiling, is known for his spectacular manoeuvres and is still a big name in the World Cup today. He is representing his sponsor ENSIS and is the top favourite in Schönberger Strand. The competitions take place daily from 10:00 to 18:00 directly on the pier in Schönberg. Interviews with experts and athletes, food trucks and regional specialities ensure variety and the physical well-being of visitors.

All information about the Foil Festival Schönberg is available HERE on the organiser's website.
