On the Plobsheim basin, a well-protected compensation basin on the French side of the Rhine, you can try out wingsurfing on 22 June from 10:00 to 18:00 and test all the latest equipment. The local watersports club "Union Nautique de Plobsheim" (UNAP) has organised the event together with the regional sailing association and the CSA Strasbourg association. Surf Keppler will be providing test equipment together with representatives from the brands North, Duotone and JP-Australia/Neilpryde.
"With this event, we want to present the sport and the local clubs to the general public," writes co-organiser Christian Wrobel. "We have both French and German members, which is why both languages will be spoken on site." You can reach the club grounds by travelling about 15 minutes from the A5 Offenburg exit in the direction of France. From the Rhine bridge, you will see the Plobsheim basin and the UNAP sailing centre on your left. The address is Route du Plan d'Eau, F-67115 Plobsheim.
