The main marketplace for used windsurfing equipment is, of course, the internet. But anyone browsing at a flea market has the chance to take a close look at boards and sails and negotiate face to face with the seller. The first traditional surf flea markets in Strande and Laupheim have already been held in 2025, and the flea market at Oortkatensee near Hamburg will soon be back on the agenda. In addition to windsurfing equipment, wingfoil equipment, SUPs and kite equipment can also be bought and sold there.
Surf flea market in Orth on Fehmarn
From 20 to 22 June 2025, a windsurfing flea market will take place at the P1 car park in Orth on Fehmarn. Participation is free of charge, only the usual parking fees apply. The organiser regards the windsurfing flea market as a test run. If the event is well received by the participants, further dates are conceivable in the future.

Test weekend with surf flea market in Hamburg
The surf shop "We Are" at Oortkatensee just outside Hamburg (formerly "Windsurfing Hamburg") is organising a big test weekend on 29 and 30 June 2025 with many brands bringing along their latest windsurfing, SUP and wing equipment. There will also be a party, delicious food and a big raffle. There will also be a flea market on 29 June, for which registration is not necessary
