Youngster Chris MacDonald from Oregon is currently the best freestyle wingfoiler in the world. A film team accompanied him during training at home - the result is an action-packed video portrait.

Since the young American Chris MacDonald appeared on the GWA Wingfoil World Tour, he has been shaking things up. In the 2023 season, he became world champion in freestyle for the first time and there seems to be no limit for Chris. This is also due to Chris' place of residence: he lives on the famous Columbia River in Oregon, just ten minutes away from the strong wind spot "The Hatchery". Because the wind blows against the current on the Columbia River, a high, steep wave forms there - perfect for high jumps and all kinds of tricks.

For the following clip, a film team accompanied the teenager during training at home. The result is an interesting and action-packed portrait of one of the most spectacular riders on the Tour. Be sure to watch it!
