Just a few weeks ago, the Winger of the Sea event celebrated its premiere in Grönwohld in Eckernförde Bay - with great success ( HERE there's a report) - 35 starters battled it out in the freestyle and racing disciplines.
Already on2/3 July 2022 there will therefore be a new edition of the contest format. A new feature of the second edition of the WOTS will be the opportunity to view and directly test the latest material from partners Sabfoil, GA and Duotone. In addition to title sponsor Vayu, all participants and spectators will have the opportunity to get an impression of the latest products.
The two-day event will be rounded off with a BBQ on Saturday evening (family & friends are welcome) and a raffle before the award ceremony on Sunday, where all participants will receive a prize. In addition to goodies from the exhibitors, there will also be various prizes from main partner Salty Elements.

Manuel Vogel, born in 1981, lives in Kiel and learned to windsurf at the age of six at his father's surf school. In 1997, he completed his training as a windsurfing instructor and worked for over 15 years as a windsurfing instructor in various centers, at Kiel University sports and in the coaching team of the “Young Guns” freestyle camps. He has been part of the surf test team since 2003. After completing his teaching degree in 2013, he followed his heart and started as editor of surf magazine for the test and riding technique sections. Since 2021, he has also been active in wingfoiling - mainly at his home spots on the Baltic Sea or in the waves of Denmark.
