Wingfoil World Cup 2025: Wave experts battle for their first world championship points in Ponta Preta

Last year, Ponta Preta provided legendary conditions for the Wingfoil World Cup and this year doesn't look bad either. Although no giant sets are currently thundering onto the notorious reef in the south-west of the Cape Verde island of Sal, the conditions are already contest-ready: head-high sets and 15-17 knots of wind allow for good action and of course there are always washouts in the rocks to be seen.
