Nia Suardiaz remains the measure of all things in the Wingfoil World Cup. A few days after her victory in freestyle, she also won the FreeFly Slalom discipline at the World Cup Fuerte, winning 13 out of 15 eliminations: "When you win 13 out of 15 races, you can only be happy. It's great to be here," summarised Suardiaz exuberantly. A French trio of Orane Ceris, Flora Artzner and Kylie Beloeuvre were breathing down Suardiaz's neck, but the three only really came into their own when Suardiaz could no longer be displaced from the top spot.
The decision in the 40 men's race is much closer. New Caledonian Titouan Galea is in the lead ahead of the final day. However, Alan Fedit, Francesco Cappuzzo and Bastien Escofet are still within striking distance.
