The aluminium carriers are lowered next to the vehicle, allowing you to load and unload everything in a relaxed manner. The carriers are TÜV-certified for loads up to a maximum of 100 kilos. Irrespective of this, however, you should always bear in mind the maximum permissible roof load of your own vehicle. The roof load is lowered using an integrated crank handle, which is geared in such a way that you retain full control over the weight at all times. When lowering, the load first tilts down together with the carrier next to the vehicle before it is brought back to a horizontal position at a low level. The entire process takes around one minute.
Two versions of the carrier are available. One is the Dropracks Sport model for cars - and the other is the Dropracks XL, which is suitable for buses. However, these ingenious carriers also come at a price - they cost the equivalent of around 1800 or 2100 euros for the XL version.
