The Foil Board Company's Day Bag makes it possible to carry the board and foil like a rucksack
As a small day bag with a rucksack option or as a travel bag for all your equipment: Foil Board Company bags are practical and versatile.

The Foil Board Company from the UK is launching its board bag line with two models. "After a few trips with our wing stuff, we realised that there is a huge demand for it," write the makers on their website. Following the soft launch in some British shops, large parts of the first delivery are said to have already been sold and the feedback has been very positive, according to manager Murray Saunders.

The smaller day bag is designed for a wing board on the way from the car to the beach or for shorter trips. With the patented carrier system, the bag can be carried like a rucksack. The foil can also remain attached if required - but then great care and consideration for bystanders will be required. The Day Bag comes in four sizes and costs between 125.00 and 149.00 euros.

  • XS: 160 x 70 cm, under 60 litres
  • S: 175 x 70 cm, 60-80 litres
  • M: 180 x 80 cm, 80-100 litres
  • L: 202 x 90 cm, 100-120 litres

The travel bag is designed to hold a whole set of equipment and is primarily intended for longer journeys. It should be suitable for a board, a complete foil set-up with several spare parts, three wings and various accessories. It is carried with a sturdy shoulder strap. The travel bag is available in three sizes and costs between 249.00 and 269.00 euros.

  • S: 165 x 75 cm, under 80 litres board volume
  • M: 175 x 80 cm, 80-100 litre board volume
  • L: 195 x 90 cm, 100-125 litre board volume

His surfing CV includes all the famous choppy water spots: As a teenager, he went from his home in Münsterland to the Ijsselmeer or the Brouwersdam, and during his civilian service on Sylt, after countless washes on the west side, the Königshafen became his preferred spot. After studying in Kiel and Heidkate, he was supposed to go to Hamburg “only for a short time”, but this short time has lasted for over ten years and has made him a “weekend warrior”. He goes on tour with his family and camper van as often as possible, often to the Baltic Sea, SPO or Denmark, but also likes to go to Finland, Sweden or Sardinia.
