The Wipper 2.0 model from manufacturer Forward WIP is also interesting for water sports kids - but not only. We tried out the helmet and tell you whether it's a winner.

Hardly any other manufacturer has as many models for water sports enthusiasts in its programme as Forward WIP. Besides ultra-light models like the Wiflex Pro or helmets with high protection such as the ProWIP 2.0 is available with the Wipper 2.0 There is also a cheaper alternative - the official retail price is 75 euros. The Wipper 2.0 is available in various colours and two sizes. Size M/L/XL has an adjustment range of 55 to 61 centimetres, while the smaller size S/M (head circumference 55-61 centimetres) is also suitable for water sports kids aged seven and over.

The fact that the Wipper 2.0 is one of the more affordable models in the Forward WIP range is in no way apparent. The shell is solid and extremely impact-resistant, while the thick padding on the inside ensures a comfortable fit. Additional padding of different thicknesses is also included in the scope of delivery so that the helmet can be customised to the individual head shape if required. The large adjustment wheel at the back of the head is also easy to grip and has additional rubber padding on the inside. The Forward WIP Wipper 2.0 is supplied with ear pieces as standard, but these can also be removed. Given that the punched ear holes cause slight wind noise, it may be advisable to remove the ear pieces.
