Dhe Rise model has always been one of the bestsellers in the NeilPryde range, which is probably also due to its lower price compared to the premium models. Now the Neo has been given an update - we were able to test the Rise Plus FZ 5/4 try it out.
In this case, the abbreviation "FZ" stands for "front zip"; alternatively, the Neo is also available with a back zip ("BZ") and in various summer versions from shorties to steamers. The material of the Rise is pleasantly soft and moulds well to the shape of the body. A plush-like material has been incorporated on the inside, which now extends from the thighs to the upper body. The entry is comfortable - even without the agility of a contortionist, it's easy to get into. The seams and cuffs largely keep cold water out, and if you're very slim, you'll have a little more room than you'd like in the wide-cut Rise Plus. There is no seam taping on the inside. If water does get in at the top, it can drain away quickly via the integrated "drain holes", small holes above the ankles and below the neck cuff.
The NeilPryde Rise Plus FZ 5/4 Neo is available for a moderate budget, it costs 279.95 euros (>> available here ), decent features and a high degree of flexibility and comfort. The thermal insulation of the Neos is good, although not quite on a par with the (sometimes significantly more expensive) premium models.
