Prolimit is equipping its new Slider board bags with attachable wheels. The bags are designed to offer the ideal combination of comfort and low weight.

Experienced water sports travellers know the problem: either you use a lightweight board bag without wheels, but then drag the precious goods over the rough tarmac on the way to the baggage drop-off. Conversely, with wheeled bags, everything can be transported easily, but such bags are often so heavy that almost a quarter of the expensive excess baggage allowance is used up just for the bag.

The Slider Boardbags from Prolimit are supposed to be the ideal solution to this problem. The bags have a rigid plate at the back - the slider base. Rollers can be inserted into this if required - no tools are required. This means that the bag can not only be pulled easily on the way to check-in, but also has sufficient ground clearance to prevent it from sagging and dragging. Once at the baggage carousel, the wheels can then be removed quickly and easily for further transport.

The new slider boardbags will be available from April 2025. Prolimit offers bags for different requirements and in several sizes, suitable for both wingfoil and windsurfing equipment. The Double Boardbags and Sessionbags are available from 209 euros in well-stocked surf shops. Further information will also be available from April 2025 on the Website of the manufacturer.
