With the Airbank Puffer Pro electric pump, you can inflate inflatable boards, wings or SUPs without breaking a sweat. Find out what it can do here.

Inflatable boards are available for wingsurfing, SUPing and windsurfing. Depending on the size of the board, however, longer pumping may be necessary before having fun on the water - in high summer or when large boards or wings need to be inflated, this often means that you are literally "pumped out" before you even start surfing or paddling. The Airbank Puffer Pro electric pump takes over the tedious pumping work and can even do the job without a power supply thanks to its rechargeable battery.

Weighing just under 1.3 kilos and with compact dimensions (16.4x8.6x19 cm), the electric pump, which comes with a matching bag, takes up very little space. It can be operated via a normal mains plug or the car's cigarette lighter. The highlight: thanks to an integrated rechargeable battery, the pump can manage up to three SUPs (10'5; 12 psi) without a power connection, provided it is fully charged. The Airbank pump inflates a typical 10'5 all-round SUP to 12 psi in around six minutes, while smaller boards or wings can be inflated much faster.

In practice, the desired filling pressure is set in advance. The Airbank Puffer Pro then pumps volume with the sound of a hairdryer and then switches to pressure mode - it sounds like a small compressor. This is unlikely to make you more popular on a crowded beach, but overall the volume remains within reasonable limits and is comparable to that of other electric pumps.

Airbank Puffer Pro electric pump - the bottom line:

For wings or small inflatable boards, a pump like the Airbank Puffer Pro is probably not absolutely necessary for most people, but with larger boards you will quickly appreciate this helper. The features and function are impressive and, thanks to the adapters supplied, you can inflate virtually "anything that floats" with it. The battery can also be used in reverse as a power source for smartphones or laptops.

The electric pump is available HERE for 129 dollars.
