The test of the ProLimit Watersport helmet revealed many successful features. You can read about the strengths and weaknesses of the helmet in the test.

With its lateral edging around the ears, the ProLimit Watersport helmet encloses the head exceptionally well, which ensures a good fit and noticeably prevents the helmet from riding up. In combination with the relatively low weight - the padding absorbs very little water - the helmet fits the head like a glove. Thanks to the flat and very cosy padding, the wearing comfort leaves nothing to be desired, and a dial at the back of the head allows you to make final adjustments to your own head size. Although the helmet is virtually identical in construction to those from F2 and GunSails, the chin strap has been additionally padded, which also benefits comfort. However, the ear area cannot be covered, e.g. with the padding supplied, as is the case with other providers. For loop training, where the eardrum is traditionally at risk, the ears should therefore be additionally protected, for example with earplugs.

WING conclusion:
Lightweight, comfortable and with a firm fit on the head, the ProLimit Watersport helmet impressed us in every respect. The only thing we can criticise is the open ear area, but the price is more than fair.
