Since it was founded in 2016, Lift Foils has been known primarily for its high-quality foils and its growing eFoil fleet. However, the fact that the brand also has boards for prone surfers and wingfoilers in its programme is often forgotten. Behind the shapes is none other than Sean Ordonez, who made a name for himself in the windsurfing scene back in the late 90s and also shaped for well-known brands such as Hifly. Ordonez now packs his knowledge of shapes and constructions into the boards from Lift Foils.
The quite banalWing Foil Board This model is designed in full carbon construction and, according to the manufacturer, "will accompany Wingfoiler for more than ten years with its light and rigid carbon construction". The board is available in four sizes: 4'4 x 44 litres/ 4'6 x 55 litres/ 4'10 x 75 litres and 5'2 x 105 litres. In the large 105 litre version in particular, the shaper claims to have maximised early take-off by using a flat bottom curve and a slightly stretched outline. According to the manufacturer, the smaller sizes are designed to be significantly shorter and therefore require a more active riding style when starting off, but appear as compact and agile as possible in the air.
