The two small sizes of the Sky Wing with 4'6'' and 4'7'' are likely to be particularly suitable for wingfoil cracks and prone surfers due to their volume of just 35 and 45 litres respectively.
The all-rounders with lengths from 4'8'' to 5'8'' (60 to 125 litres) are likely to be more interesting for many wingsurfers. According to the manufacturer, the focus here should be on maximising early take-off. This is made possible by flat bottom curves and sharp tear-off edges at the rear. Bevelled edges ("bevels") are also intended to ensure a gentle launch and send the board gently back into the air on contact with water.
Compared to the previous models, Fanatic shaper Sky Solbach has made the bow and tail areas slightly narrower in order to reduce the centrifugal mass in manoeuvres and during the flight phase.
The 140-litre model has been optimised with a stretched outline (6'3'') especially for the needs of climbers and is also available with a comfortable soft deck as an alternative.
