Naish is expanding its range of wingfoil and SUP boards in hollow construction technology with four new sizes. The Chimera line is getting three additional variants with 68, 78 and 108 litres, while the Odyssey model is being supplemented by a 125-litre version. All boards are based on the Hollow Shell construction, which was introduced at the end of last year. Instead of relying on foam cores, this construction means that only the outer shell bears the load. The result: according to the manufacturer, the Nvision boards weigh an average of two kilograms less than comparable EPS constructions. According to the manufacturer, the weight saving not only affects the handling, but also the buoyancy behaviour and the connection to the foil. The construction without a foam core enables more direct power transmission between the rider and foil.
The Chimera Nvision was previously only available in the 88-litre version with a length of 6'3". The three new sizes extend the range downwards and upwards. The 68-litre version measures 6'0" and is aimed at lighter riders or advanced riders who prefer a more compact board. The 78-litre version with 6'1" is positioned as a middle ground between the smallest and the original 88-litre version. At the top end of the scale is the new 108-litre version with a length of 6'6", which offers more lift for heavier riders or more demanding conditions. According to the manufacturer, the Chimera Nvision reacts immediately to steering commands, gets out of the water early and carves with precision. The hollow construction ensures a feather-light feel and improved control in every session.
The Odyssey Nvision was previously available in two sizes: 90 litres with a length of 7'2" and 110 litres with a length of 7'8". The new 125-litre 8'4" version extends the range upwards and appeals to riders who need more volume for downwind sessions or race starts. The manufacturer positions the Odyssey Nvision as a board for racers and ambitious downwind riders who are looking for every possible advantage. The construction enables faster starts, agile turns and effortless pumping. According to Naish, the board remains stable and responsive in all conditions. The larger 125-litre version offers additional lift for longer distances or in less consistent wind conditions.
