Versatility as a core concept
The Chimera concept is designed to eliminate the need to change boards between different foil disciplines. Wingsurfing, wave riding with a foil, downwind runs, tow-in sessions and motorised Foil Drive can all be covered with a single board. This versatility not only reduces the amount of kit required, but also simplifies logistics when travelling to different spots. The more compact design compared to previous models improves manoeuvrability during tight turns and technical manoeuvres. At the same time, it retains the stability that is crucial, particularly when starting out in foiling.
Availability and range of sizes
The Chimera 2027 is available in eight different volume sizes. The range extends from 40 litres for lighter riders and advanced manoeuvres up to 130 litres for heavier riders or those new to the sport. The mid-range sizes – 50, 60, 70, 80 and 95 litres – cover the main range, whilst the 110-litre version offers an additional option for taller riders or calmer conditions. This range of sizes allows for a precise choice to suit individual requirements.
